School Bus Transportation Opt-Out Form
At Framingham Public Schools, we want to ensure a smooth, efficient, and timely transportation experience for all of our students.

To optimize our bus routes and maximize efficiency, all students in grades K-6 who live more than 2 miles from their school have automatically been assigned a bus route for the upcoming school year.

Do You Need School Bus Transportation? We understand that some families prefer to drive their children, walk, carpool, or use alternative transportation. If your student does not require school bus transportation, we kindly ask that you complete this quick opt-out form.

Please Note: If your child will be in Kindergarten through 6th grade next year, 2026-2027, and you live more than 2.0 miles from your assigned school and you need a bus, no action is required! You do not need to fill out this form.

Why Fill Out This Form?
Letting us know you don't need a seat helps us shorten bus rides and optimize routes for students who rely on the bus. Once you submit this form, the Transportation Team will remove your student from the bus roster, ensuring our records are perfectly accurate before the first day of school.
